Located 11 kilometers from our house, between the regions of Guadalhorce and Guadalteba, El Chorro is a spectacular mountainous enclave in the heart of the Natural Park Desfiladero de los Gaitanes, an area protected by the Junta de Andalucía since 1989 for its great ecological value and its extraordinary landscape, historical and paleontological richness.

There is a very entertaining via ferrata open to the public in El Chorro. It has a long zip line and two Tibetan type bridges. Very aerial views. Essential visit.
